The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) issued the Grand Challenge for Autonomous Ground Vehicles to help save soldiers lives.  UXVworks answered the Challenge by leading the development of an autonomous vehicle named JackBot. 

JackBot was selected as a Grand Challenge Finalist from a pool of 195 applicants, after months of review and qualifying stages.  At the final DARPA qualifier, JackBot was one of fewer than 10 vehicles able to produce multiple “clean” runs (avoiding all obstacles) at a race pace.
